Which of Our Legislators Are Protecting Children Over Abusers?

Thus far, two states - California and Delaware - have taken the lead, chosen to protect children over abusers, and have passed "window legislation" - the only tried and true method of exposing hidden child predators in our midst.

Voting to Allow Child Abusers to Remain Hidden

** This reflects an amended bill with only minor technical variations. An earlier vote on the Child Victims Act took place on April 4. At this vote, 19 senators voted for the bill with two absent (Senator Bonini, who voted yes on June 20, and Senator Vaughn, who was absent most regretably due to terminal illness). Senators Amick, Cloutier, Cook, Henry, and McBride all voted yes on April 4th. Therefore, every Senator except Senator Vaughn voted for the Delaware Child Victims Act on either day. See HERE for a description of the voting in Delaware.
